Class Policy


Registration can be done in person or by phone. Payment is expected at time of registration, your class spot is secure once we have payment. Block of the month classes will require a credit card on-line for monthly payment. Your credit card information will be secured. The class supply list can be emailed or you can pick it up in the store. You will receive a 10% discount on all class supplies. Remember to request your discount at time of purchase. Discount will not be given later. If a pattern or specialized ruler is required, each person taking the class must purchase their own. No sharing is permitted due to copyright issues. Cancellations need to be made at least 7 days prior to the first day of the class, a class voucher will be issued to be used for a future class. Your class fee will be forfeited if you cancel less than seven days before the class. The majority of our teachers require at least 3 students to hold the class. If we need to cancel a class due to low registrants, we will give you a full refund. If we need to cancel due to weather, we will do our best to offer the class at a future date, otherwise we will give you a refund.

Class Etiquette

Please be considerate of your teacher and other class members, not everyone sews at the same pace. Please do not wear any perfumes due to possible allergies of other students and instructors. Please arrive 15 minutes early to be set up and ready by class time. Please put all cell phones on silent. If you must take a call, we ask that you step out of the classroom. All beverages must be in a resealable container in the classroom.

Class Photos

The Village Quilt Shoppe will post pictures of students, classes and projects on our website, Facebook page and our other social media. If you do not want your picture or projects posted, please let us know.

Return Policy

Refund Period

Products can be returned with a receipt within the first 30 days after purchase if the item is still in like-new condition. Fabric sold by the yard or any other product that has been altered or customized for your order is not eligible for refunds. Please come in or call the store if you have any questions about returns on a specific item.

Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Damages is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Privacy Policy

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
