Foundation Paper Piecing Club
Whether you are new to paper piecing or have some experience, join the Village Quilt Shoppe Foundation Paper Piecers for this club! The first session will be a review class. If you are fine on your own, you will be able to work independently.
Each month, you will work on a project or projects of your choosing.
Every step of the way, Jane will be available for support with all of the facets of
foundation piecing. Interested in freezer paper or muslin foundation piecing? We will
explore some different techniques! Need help with measuring for fabric, or working with odd angles or directional fabric? Help will be available. Have you ever tried a stamped foundation? How about different foundation materials? Let’s give them a try!
Carol Doak’s 60 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars is the source of the blocks displayed at
Village Quilt Shoppe. This book is not required for the class, as you may choose your
own project or pattern. However, the book will be available for purchase at VQS

Instructor Bio: | Recently someone asked Jane when she started Foundation Paper Piecing, and she really could not remember. It has been many years, and many projects (yes, including large size quilts) have been created with FPP! For fun, Jane enjoys learning about different foundation paper piecing strategies. When she's not piecing or learning more about it, she's a wife, mom, and teacher. |
