Here is what you can expect to learn in the class.
- Get to Know your machine.
- Calibrate upper tension to achieve the full range.
- Correctly set the bobbin tension. (A Bobbin Calibration tool will be available to borrow)
- Adjust bobbin winder tension as needed.
- Check your Feed Dog end play.
- Check for end play or binding of the upright arm shaft.
- Check and adjust the height of the feed dogs.
- Set the presser foot’s correct height and pressure.
- Stitch length regulator.
- Facts about thread and your featherweight.
- How to fix thread jams.
- Loop Guard service for looping of the bottom stitch, constantly breaking thread, jamming.

- Cleaning and waxing the machine head to help protect the finish.
