Scrapping for Charity

Join us on the third Tuesday of each month, from 10:30-3 to cut squares from scraps of fabric to send to the One Common Thread foundation to help women in Honduras make quilts to support their families. We encourage you to check out the website https://onecommonthread.org to get all the details and to see the beautiful faces of these women.  We all have so many scraps that will never use and we love the idea of sending them to these women.   Even if you don’t have scraps, we could use your cutting, ironing, and sorting skills.  (Please feel free to bring a bag lunch or some snacks if you would like.) If you cannot make the sewing day but still want to help, feel free to drop off precut squares, 3"

We now have volunteers to cut fabric, so we are again taking fabric donations. We are in need of light colors; white, cream, light grey, light yellow for the kits we are putting together.
